Looking for sweet treats that can be made using just the microwave? We have created two simple recipes that are sure to be a hit with all of the family!
Choose from the crunchy Malteser rocky road, or the indulgent two ingredient chocolate fudge. Both are super easy to create, and are sure to tickle those fancies.
Here are the recipes:

Ingredients
- 200g dark chocolate
- 200g milk chocolate
- 150g butter
- 4tbsp golden syrup
- 180g mini marshmallows
- 300g maltesers (plus extra for topping)
- 200g white chocolate
You will need:
- Microwavable bowl
- Mixing bowl
- Greaseproof paper
- Deep set dessert tin/tray
Method
- Break the milk and dark chocolate into the microwavable bowl followed by the butter and golden syrup.
- Microwave for 30 seconds, remove and mix.
- Repeat microwaving for 30 seconds until molten.
- Mix the melted mixture well and transfer into a mixing bowl.
- Add the marshmallows and maltesers, mixing all ingredients well.
- Line the dessert tray with greaseproof paper.
- Scoop the mixture into the tray.
- Top with more maltesers, pressing them down slightly into the mix with the back of a spoon.
- Melt the white chocolate in the microwave and spoon over the top.
- Refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Cut into equal pieces and serve.

Ingredients
- 400g milk chocolate
- 395g condensed milk
You will need
- microwavable bowl
- greaseproof paper
- deep set baking tray/silicone tray
Method
- Break the chocolate into the microwavable bowl.
- Pour the condensed milk over the chocolate.
- Microwave for 30 seconds
- Remove and mix well, repeating the process until the mixture is smooth.
- Line the tray with greaseproof paper.
- Pour the mixture into the tray and spread out evenly.
- Refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Cut into equal bite size pieces and serve.
