It had been quite a while since we’d seen a Harry Potter hallway or stairs on our DIY group, so it was a pleasant surprise when Claire Arnold shared hers. Definitely worth the wait!
“Wanted something a little different in my hallway, never done a themed wall but thought I’d just wing it. And I gotta say I’m absolutely loving my HP inspired decor

Claire originally wanted a shelf to house some Harry Potter lego models, but it’s apparent that she got a little carried away!
She used samples of faux brick wallpaper, ripped the edges, and blended them in with spare paint using a brush and sponge. “I wanted it to look like an old wall was breaking through.”
Easier and cheaper than wallpapering the full wall. That’s certainly ‘On a Budget’.
“Add a few obligatory HB mirrors, BM shelves, Range signs and lanterns. Cut up a Harry Potter poster and frame bits, add a snitch and a few wands…..and my wizard wall was created”
