Having a small kitchen can be tricky, and we love ideas that utilise whatever room there is. This awesome kitchen storage does just that…
With hundreds (if not thousands) of our network followers asking how to make the most of their kitchen area, this ingenious idea became very popular
Joe Whittaker showed us how, by removing and reusing the kitchen kickboards, you can greatly increase storage with this DIY hack
Once he had taken off the old kickboards, and cleared the items that had fallen behind, it became obvious how much space is wasted under fitted units.

Using MDF, Joe demonstrated how simple it is to make drawers to fit under the cupboards.

He painted his drawers white, but you can use whatever colour you want. Castors were added for easy manoeuvrability, and the old kickboards were used to cover the drawer fronts.

With handles attached to the drawers, the kitchen storage is completed. We’re sure you’ll agree this is an awesome and inspiring project!
